Georgia signs insurance reform bills into law

APCIA applauds bills that limit third-party litigation funding and attempt to restrain damage awards

The governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, signed two insurance reform bills into law last week, limiting foreign litigation and changing the state’s civil procedure laws in a bid to reduce insurance costs.
