AIG looks for removal of entity cover from D&O

AIG is urging the removal of entity coverage from directors’ & officers’ (D&O) insurance, so as to reduce company willingness to settle in shareholder litigation. Entity coverage was generally added to D&O in the 1990s to deal with allocation problems between executives and their companies.
