Right to breast-feed in public

Proposals before the Scottish Parliament would impose fines of up to £2,500 on bars and restaurants that refuse to allow nourishment to the young, that is ban breast feeding. It faces a rearguard action from those with hang-ups over the basic function of mammary glands, Iain McMillan, director of the Confederation of British Industry in Scotland equating it to a right to change nappies in public.
