Gunshot research: suit upheld
A new report from the Packard Foundation will be used to support anti-gun manufacturer litigation. It shows that gunshots
are the second leading cause of death (after car accidents) among children in the US aged 10 to 19. The report argues that
the figure of 20,000 children killed each year in firearms accidents indicates that gun-safety programmes aimed at children
are not working.
