Structured settlements boom – in the US

The National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) has issued almost US$3bn annuities in physical injury claims over the last six months. ‘Victims continued to request structured settlements at unprecedented levels… with the stock market in chaos no other financial settlement matches the structured settlement’s growth and security,’ commented NSSTA president Terry Taylor.
