Radiation exposure at Sellafield

Twelve years ago, research by Martin Gardner of the University of Southampton suggested a higher risk of blood and lymph cancers among the children of men working at Sellafield nuclear plant. Subsequently rubbished, a new study, part-funded by the nuclear industry and led by Heather Dickson and Louise Parker at Newcastle University, has produced broad vindication of his conclusions.
