CCA wood preservative

A growing number of suits are being filed in the US alleging health problems caused by exposure to arsenic in wood preservative. Lead class action lawyer is Hugh McNeeley of Louisiana. Chromated copper arsenate (CCA) is widely used in the US as a preservative for outdoor wood such as picnic tables, playground equipment and decking. Despite substantial evidence of leaching from CCA-treated wood, health hazards are still in dispute.
