Fleming countersues James River over JRG Re deal

Fleming Intermediate Holdings has filed a lawsuit in federal court in New York accusing James River Group Holdings of engaging in securities fraud, common-law fraud, and breach of contract in the wake of the November 2023 deal in which Fleming agreed to acquire JRG Reinsurance for $300m.
