Louisiana governor signs law abolishing 'three-year rule'

Insurance commissioner has pressed deregulation as a response to market failures

Louisiana governor, Jeff Landry, has signed legislation that repeals the state’s “three-year rule”, part of a wider effort to deregulate the state’s insurance markets and lower spiralling premiums after a wave of hurricanes.
