Ship collision with bridge likely to hit International Group hardest
Initial reports following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore indicate the nature of the incident is
likely to fall within the scope of P&I coverage which covers third-party liability for vessels including damage to fixed or
floating objects. The bridge was struck by Singapore-flagged Dali which was operating on a 2M Alliance service (a container
vessel-sharing agreement between MSC and Maersk) between Baltimore and the Far East.
