Ship collision with bridge likely to hit International Group hardest

Initial reports following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore indicate the nature of the incident is likely to fall within the scope of P&I coverage which covers third-party liability for vessels including damage to fixed or floating objects. The bridge was struck by Singapore-flagged Dali which was operating on a 2M Alliance service (a container vessel-sharing agreement between MSC and Maersk) between Baltimore and the Far East.
