NHS staff survey reveals discrimination at work

The NHS had published its “Staff Survey 2023” which includes staff attitudes to and experience of discrimination, as well as harassment, bullying and abuse at work. According to the survey, in the last five years there has been a gradual increase in the percentage of staff claiming to have experienced discrimination at work; experience of discrimination from patients or the public is up from 7.20 per cent to 8.48 per cent since 2019, while discrimination from staff is up from 7.68 per cent to 9.07 per cent.
