This was the first of a pair of references relating to an unpaid invoice in an amount of US$193,500 for a supply of bunkers to the subject vessel at a port in China in April 2023. It concerned a claim by the bunker suppliers against the time charterers who were the operators of the vessel at the time and who ordered the bunkers. They were the ultimate charterers in a series of back-to-back time charters.
