Russian TPL for July 2003

Passed by both chambers of parliament, compulsory third party motor liability is due to be implemented in July 2003. The government is still to agree premiums and set administrative regulations but maximum compensation has been set at R400,000 (US$12,900) of which the maximum for an injured individual is R160,000 with a total of R240,000 for more than one person in a single accident.
