Race is barrier in disclosures about sexual identity

Race is a barrier in disclosures about sexual identity, according to a US study published in the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. The study identified race as a factor in the reaction of workers to disclosures by colleagues of their sexual orientation. The study found that black people who are bi- or pansexual face greater barriers to disclosing their sexual identity at work compared to their white counterparts and other sexual minority groups.
