Insurance premiums pre promulgation of conditions of recovery

In a case where the timetable of a defendant arranging insurance cover against liability for costs and the introduction of conditions of recovery under section 29 of the Access to Justice Act were entangled, the unsuccessful claimant appealed against paying the defendant’s premium as all conditions, including giving timely notice of insurance, had not been met.
