Power suppliers may seek compensation for trading arrangement delays

Ofgen, the energy industry regulator, has given the go-ahead for power suppliers to seek compensation for losses suffered during the introduction of new trading arrangements in 2001. These are estimated as totalling around £25mn, stemming from incorrect data from utilities.
