This was an appeal against a judgment delivered on 8 November 2006. The claimant was a Turkish company supplying bunkers to various vessels. The claimant contended that it had supplied bunkers to the vessel Lima II in the period 9 October 2000 to 13 March 2001 following orders placed by the owners (the second defendants). The invoice was not paid, and the claimant obtained an order for the arrest of Lima II at the port of Kandla on 17 May 2001.
