Machinery damage dominates latest incident reports

There has been a jump in larger vessels having machinery-related troubles, in particular containerships and general cargo ships, writes Bridget Diakun of Lloyd's List

Machinery damage or failure-related incidents accounted for 55 per cent of all casualty reports during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Lloyd's List Intelligence data.
