Al Thani v Al Thani – International succession from the BVI to the Privy Council

Sheikh Saoud Mohamed Al Thani (“the Sheikh”) was a Qatari Prince, who served as the Minister of Culture and became an internationally renowned art collector. The dispute amongst the Sheikh’s family as to the succession to his worldwide estate has been ongoing since his death in November 2014, and shows no sign of abating.
