Insurers should consider PFAS risks in policies

Clyde & Co says insurers need to consider the extent to which their policies might be affected by the growing risks represented by PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), the so-called forever chemicals. In a recent Market Insight, Clyde & Co says the scientific community, together with regulators and, more recently, litigants, have all started waking up to the risks that these chemicals present to public health and the environment.
