Report of another Inquiry into maternity care

The most recent report of yet another Inquiry into the maternity care, this time at East Kent NHS Hospitals Trust, has raised very serious concerns not only about substandard treatment but also about the apparent attempt to cover up the extent of the problems experienced by mothers and their babies. The conclusion of the Inquiry was that 45 babies might have survived if they had received better care by the Trust.
