London market premiums grow 7% to £35.6bn in 2021

Cyber and professional indemnity lines see strong growth, as treaty reinsurance business grows faster than D&F and European premiums decline

Premium income for the London company market rose 7% to £35.65bn ($39.37bn) in 2021, supported by cyber and professional lines growth and treaty reinsurance expansion, the International Underwriting Association (IUA) has reported.
