Hurricane Ian insured losses could reach $40bn in Florida

Losses could be higher depending on how the storm, which is expected to make landfall again, affects the Carolinas, Fitch says

Insured losses from Hurricane Ian could cost up to $40bn for Florida alone, Fitch Ratings has said, as it warned insured losses could increase if it makes landfall again.
