Concern over increase in children vaping

Vaping among children 11–17 has increased from 4 per cent in 2020 to 7 per cent in 2022, while the proportion of children who admit ever having tried vaping has also risen from 14 per cent in 2020 to 16 per cent in 2022. This is according to the annual YouGov youth survey for ASH. Disposable e-cigarettes are now the most used product among current vapers, up more than seven-fold from 7 per cent in 2020 and 8 per cent in 2021, to 52 per cent in 2022.
