MHRA announces plans for future medical devices regulation

The Supreme Court decision in Hastings illustrates the importance of clarity and transparency in respect of medical devices. Separately, and following a process of consultation, the Agency which regulates healthcare products, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), has set out its plans for improving patient safety and encouraging innovation.
