Damages claims down but time taken from claim to hearing increases
Damages claims were down 22 per cent at 26,000 for the first quarter of 2022 while the mean time taken from claim to hearing
has increased, according to the Civil Justice Statistics Quarterly: January to March 2022 from the Ministry of Justice.
