EU looks to boost AML Authority powers and reach

European Union (EU) governments have agreed to beef up the powers of the future European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), due to launch on 1 January 2023, under a new 29 June [2022] position [1] on the proposed AMLA regulation.
