Shipping – Admiralty – Collision – Effect of collision– Jurisdiction agreement – Whether offer of reasonable security in lieu of arrest had to be accepted

Clause C of the Collision Jurisdiction Agreement (ASG 2) devised by the London Admiralty Solicitors Group states that if a claim arising from a collision is determined in the English courts under English law, security for the claim is to be given so as to avoid the costs and delays caused by arrests. Clause C states that:
