The UK’s Economic Crime Plan (ECP) 2.0 is set to go live some time in the second half of this year [2022] – version one, covering
2019-22, [1] finishes in July – a senior official told a recent financial crime conference in London: workshops are now underway,
continuing the public-private sector collaborative approach adopted for the first plan. New strategies for tackling fraud
and corruption are also scheduled for release in 2022.
