Failure to admit baby to a special unit and the delay of a six-hour journey by ambulance to another hospital, when suffering breathing difficulties a few months after premature birth, led to oxygen starvation and catastrophic brain injury. Now aged seven, the girl’s disabilities include quadriplegia and blindness. Liability accepted.
