New incident reporting centre

The Health & Safety Executive (HSE), in partnership with local authorities, has launched a new incident-reporting service for all employers and businesses nationwide. Aiming for higher compliance with reporting requirements under RIDDOR (210,000 health and safety incidents are currently reported annually) a ‘one-stop shop’ will simplify reporting through a choice of internet, email, phone, fax or post.
