Measures to prevent the smuggling of drugs

Ships are attractive to drug traffickers and smuggling by sea is a perennial problem. Despite recent high profile arrests and large seizures, drug smuggling operations show no signs of decreasing as trade and commercial traffic continues to expand, and traffickers are finding increasingly novel and ingenious ways of smuggling.
