European Parliament backs EU road safety strategy for next decade

The European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly to back a report setting out its views on the EU road safety strategy for the next ten years. The Parliament also supports the setting up of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for road safety and says outcome targets should be set by 2023.
