Call for government to back bill protecting public-facing workers

The government has been urged to back the introduction of a protection of public-facing workers bill by retail trade union Usdaw. The Abuse of Public-Facing Workers (Offences) Bill was introduced by Olivia Blake MP and is scheduled for a second reading in January 2022.
