In recent years, large brands have been somewhat obsessed withall things colour, or ‘color’ in the US. Cadbury went to great lengths andcosts to secure and maintain its trademarks for its particular pantone ofpurple, going on to lose a trademark battle over the subject with Nestlé. Someyears ago, there was a dispute between Orange and EasyJet when the lattersought to move into the mobile phone market with EasyMobile.
