DUAL EXPANDS INTO LATIN AMERICA

Dual Group has expanded into Latin America with the addition of underwriting teams in Mexico and Brazil. The international underwriting arm of Howden Group has acquired Dock Re, a managing general agent and Lloyd’s coverholder in Mexico. It has also opened an office in São Paulo. Dock Re, which is led by managing director Gabriel Buzo, focuses on property, casualty and financial lines. The new São Paulo office is led by Francisco Vogt Marques, who has more than 20 years’ experience within the Brazilian insurance industry across energy, property/casualty and reinsurance lines.
