Twenty global airlines, including British Airways (BA), face the likelihood of hundreds of claims in an Australian class action, due to be launched within two months, alleging failure to warn of the dangers of developing deep vein thrombosis (DVT) during flight. The action is being handled by Melbourne-based Slater & Gordon.
