FCA to take swifter action against firms that don’t use regulatory permissions

FCA-regulated firms can lose their regulatory permissions after six weeks rather than 12 months — following the introduction of a new power aimed at preventing scams. The action would come after a 14-day notice period and a month’s subsequent elapse.
