SCOR REJIGS GROUP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AS DE MARTIN EXITS
French reinsurer Scor has made changes to its group executive committee. Frieder Knüpling, previously group chief risk officer,
is appointed CEO of Scor Global Life, succeeding Paolo De Martin, who has decided to pursue a new direction in his career.
Knüpling is succeeded as group CRO by Fabian Uffer, previously group head of risk modelling, who also joins the group executive
committee. Romain Launay, previously group chief operating officer, is named deputy CEO of Scor Global P&C and CEO of specialty
insurance. In addition, François de Varenne, CEO of Scor Global Investments will also now be in charge of the group’s transformation.
Laurent Rousseau, CEO of Scor, said: “We are mobilized to accelerate the company’s profound transformation provided for in
