ALLIANT ACQUIRES BIGGS INSURANCE SERVICES

US broker Alliant has expanded its footprint in the US Pacific Northwest with the acquisition of Biggs Insurance Services (BIS). Washington state-based BIS provides personal, commercial, and employee benefits solutions to businesses and individuals throughout the Pacific Northwest Region. BIS and its team of almost 60 insurance professionals will join Alliant and continue servicing clients from its Vancouver headquarters. Tom Corbett, chairman and chief executive officer of Alliant, said: “This will further enhance our ability to provide clients across the Pacific Northwest with tailored solutions that address all aspects of their risk profile.” Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
