Insurance firms warned over possible non-compliance on product manufacture

Allinsurers and intermediaries in the general insurance and protection market arebeing told “to act immediately” to fill gaps and shortcomings in their productgovernance frameworks in order to meet enhancedrules starting on 1 October 2021. The message from the FCA follows a reviewin which the regulator found numerous areas where firms are falling short.
