Equitable Life’s ‘bad advice’
‘Inadequate advice’ on pension affairs to recruitment company director Brian Ingram allegedly cost him £350,000. This was
through switch of plan, bringing it under new regulations. After initial denial by Equitable and an eight-year battle, a settlement
payment of £200,000 has been agreed.
