VEStA insures US$1bn space launch risks
In the first half of this year, East-European Insurance Agency (VEStA) provided almost US$1bn in coverage for satellite launch
risks. Of the nine policies issued, the bulk of coverage was in respect of civil liabilities to third parties in the launch
of the Express-A satellites No 2 and 3, and the Gorizont-45 satellite.
