Alaska Airlines accepts court awards

Attorneys for Alaska Airlines have assured a San Francisco court that they will not contest awards to the families of 88 crash victims. Flight 261 crashed off the coast of California in January of this year. Investigators have questioned the airline’s maintenance procedures, and non-replacement of a stabiliser jackscrew that was noted as worn in 1997.
