Thai Airways pays family of student

Thai Airways, having admitted liability without admission of negligence, has compensated the families of 20 Japanese victims of the 1992 Airbus A310 crash to a total of ¥4.3bn. However, the father of a 17-year-old student sought ¥100mn, alleging airline negligence.
