Diversity statements on gender and ethnic targets for listed companies expected for 2022

Listedcompanies are to be required to publish annual ‘comply or explain statements’on diversity targets under FCA proposals that look set to take effect from nextyear. The statements would mean, for instance, explaining the absence of femaleand ethnic minority representation on the board and within the top posts.
