GALLAGHER ACQUIRES RJ RIORDAN & CO IN ILLINOIS

AjG has acquired RJ Riordan & Co, and Illinois-based retail property/casualty broker that offers a full range of products to clients in the Chicago area, specialising in cover for clients in the construction and transportation industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Riordan team will relocate from offices in Oakbrook to Gallagher’s retail broking operations in Rolling Meadows and will report to J Ryan Isaacs, head of Gallagher’s Midwest region retail property/casualty broking business. “The RJ Riordan team brings us additional expertise and growth opportunities, particularly in the construction industry,” said Gallagher chairman, president and chief executive J Patrick Gallagher.
