AON REPORTS 11% ORGANIC GROWTH IN Q2
Aon reported its strongest growth in a decade with second-quarter 2021 organic revenue growth of 11%. The results were released days after the collapse of the company’s planned merger with Willis Towers Watson. Aon’s reinsurance solutions division reported organic revenue growth of 9%, which the company said reflected growth in treaty, as well as “double-digit growth” in capital markets transactions and “solid growth” in facultative placements. Commercial risk solutions reported organic revenue growth of 14%, which was attributed to “strong new business generation, retention and management of the renewal book portfolio”. There was “double-digit growth” in the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia and Latin America, driven by continued strength in core property/casualty.
