OCCAM APPOINTS FISHER CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Specialist managing general agent (MGA) Occam Underwriting has promoted its chief financial officer (CFO), Mark Fisher, to chief executive. Fisher replaces Lance Gibbins, who became chief executive in 2018 and who will stay on at the company as chair. London-based Occam, which currently specialises in complex energy and space risks, said the appointment was part of strategic plans to grow the company by expanding into different lines of business.
