LLOYD’S APPOINTS CARTER DEPUTY CHAIR

Lloyd’s has appointed Guy Carpenter veteran Vicky Carter as deputy chair. In her new role, Carter will help Lloyd’s in shaping its responses to the needs and demands of the market. Carter has been a member of the Council of Lloyd’s since 2019, as well as a chairman of Guy Carpenter’s global capital solutions operation, where she has been working for more than a decade. “This appointment recognises Carter’s extraordinary professional contribution to the Lloyd’s market and global re/insurance industry over many decades,” Bruce Carnegie-Brown, chairman at Lloyd’s, said. “Her leadership will be vital as we progress our work in building the world’s most advanced insurance marketplace.” The new appointment is effective September 1
